This sure came out of nowhere! The game art style is modern moe style but the actual game system is closer to old fighting game style. This game is way too good in all aspects for a freeware game.
There doesn’t seem to be a full list of credits listed aside from the creator Sugeno Tomoaki, who is supposedly an ex-capcom employee as according to what people have managed to dug up about him.

I find Vanguard Princess much more fun to play than Street Fighter and I think its because of all the cute moesome characters in it - but not only that, its very playable and entertaining too! Is available for download from Vector - click the blue button. And its free! I ran it on Parallels and it worked completely fine - I just need to dig out my PS3 controller to USB attachment.
